Join us at UW-Stout to explore FIRST Robotics initiatives and participate in the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Kickoff. Discover the power of FIRST robotics, a global program that inspires students to become leaders in STEM through hands-on robotics, teamwork, and problem-solving. FIRST programs have been shown to boost confidence, spark interest in STEM careers, and connect students with mentors and industry professionals. This hands-on event includes 8 hours of hybrid professional development training as you learn to build and program an FTC robot.

Open to all interested participants:

• Youth (middle & high school) with parent/guardian supervision

• Educators looking to start a robotics team

• Undergraduate students interested in mentoring or volunteering

• Industry professionals interested in mentoring or volunteering

Please bring your own lunch and snacks.
