UW-Stout School of Art & Design Speaker Series presents photographer Erinn Springer:

Erinn Springer is a photographer from Dunn County, WI. Her recent body of work Dormant Season, an exploration of her return to rural Wisconsin, reflects on grief, personal history, and both the isolation and community of the modern agrarian Midwest. Dormant Season was published in 2023 to international acclaim, reviewed in The New Yorker as an honest and incandescent portrait of the rural Midwest. Erinn Springer's work has been featured in the New York Times, the New Yorker, Vogue, The Wall Street Journal, the Museum of Wisconsin Art, & others. 

For the 2025 SOAD Speaker Series, photographer Erinn Springer will discuss her experiences, inspiration, and artistic processes behind Dormant Season, paired with a special selection of her work in Furlong Gallery.
